Situated in the select residential area of Fresnaye,
sheltered by the slopes of Signal Hill and Lions Head,
this beautiful and spacious villa is ideal for a family
holiday. Looking up from the entrance to the villa is a
magnificent view of Lion’s Head mountain towering above.
Hang gliders can be seen drifting the top of the
mountain. From the villa are views of the Atlantic Ocean
over Robben Island and Bantry Bay. The villa is a
short drive to the best beaches and all the summer
holiday activities. A five minute walk to the nearest
restaurants. It is about a forty five-minute walk to
the Cape Town Stadium.
The villa is constructed on two levels. The open plan
living areas and three bedrooms are located on the top
floor. The lower area is accessed by outdoor stairs
where there are two further bedrooms facing the paved
patio with a sparkling blue pool and Jacuzzi. The sixth
bedroom is located on the side of the villa with a
separate access. The Villa is tastefully decorated with
polished woods and contemporary furniture. Wireless
internet is available.
Step through the frosted glass double entrance doorway,
next to the double garage, into a wide paved walkway.
This leads you to the main entrance hall where there is
a workstation with a pc, printer and fax machine. On the
far side of the entrance hall are a guest toilet and a
door opening on to a small external tiled patio and
steps leading down to the pool area.
To the left of the entrance hall is a corridor that
leads past the kitchen to the living area. Comfortable
leather couches and patterned armchairs surround a
polished wood coffee table and make a perfect area to
enjoy programs on the TV. There are lovely views of the
Atlantic Ocean. Leading off the living room is a balcony
with beautiful views across to Robben Island in the
middle of Table Bay. An outdoor table and chairs create
a great setting for relaxed meals.
Adjacent to the sitting room is a formal dining room
with a magnificent polished wooden dining table for
entertaining plenty of guests. The large glass windows
let you enjoy the twinkling lights below as you eat
dinner. The kitchen has an open serving area off the
dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped for
self-catering. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen.
The six bedrooms are all en-suite with DSTV television
and coffee making facilities in each room. The beds are
made up with crisp white linen and splashes of bright
colours. The bathrooms are all decorated in a modern
contemporary style. Three bedrooms are on the entrance
level and three bedrooms are on the pool and patio
A corridor leads off the living room to three bedrooms.
The first bedroom off the corridor has a double bedroom
with a window giving plenty of light. The en-suite
bathroom has green marble tiles and a bath with attached
The middle bedroom is the master bedroom. This is a
spacious room decorated in an ornate style with a king
sized bed, side tables and armchair. The white tiled
bathroom has a bath and overhead shower.
The third bedroom has a double bed and plenty of light
from the window. The marble tiled bathroom has a shower.
From this level, you step outside onto the paved steps
that go down to the pool level. Here there is a
sparkling private unheated pool sheltered by the garden walls.
There is a Jacuzzi and sun loungers so that all your
guests have space to relax and soak up the sun.
On this level are two more bedrooms looking out on to
the pool area. They have sliding glass doors leading out
to the patio with views of the pool. The brightly
coloured fourth bedroom has twin beds and an
inter-leading door to the fifth bedroom; this can be
useful for parents with small children. The en-suite
bathroom has a shower.
The fifth bedroom is spacious and has a contemporary
design. The double bed is set in an alcove off a sitting
area with a sofa and coffee table. The tiled bathroom
has a shower.
The sixth bedroom is located on the side of the villa
and has a separate access. The double bedroom has bright
cushions and a soft throw. The en-suite bathroom has a
shower. There is a gate in the garden wall, which opens
to the street allowing the occupants of this bedroom
suite direct access to the street, which is great for
teenagers coming home late.
There is a remote controlled double garage for two
standard length sedan cars. Off-street parking is
available in front of the garage. There is also plenty
of on-street parking. In the garage is the laundry area
with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The Villa is fitted with a security system and electric
fencing on the surrounding walls.
There is a house keeping service Monday to Friday except
on Public Holidays.
Bantry Bay, Seapoint restaurants and shops about 10
Clifton Beaches 15 – 20 minutes’ walk
Camps Bay 10 minutes drive
Cape Town Stadium about 10 minutes drive in normal
traffic, approximately 45 minutes’ walk
